Meet Samuel Etherton, LMT, our Licensed Massage Therapist. He focuses on pain relief, improving mobility, and addressing problem areas that limit the body on a day to day basis. Sam creates a relaxed, clinical-style environment for his clients where each session is tailored with the right pressure, clear communication, and a results-driven approach.

He trained at Stark State College, completing over 800 hours of hands-on education, and is licensed through the State Medical Board of Ohio.

With over 20 years experience as an athlete and coach, along with personal experience recovering from major knee surgery, Samuel understands both performance and real-life recovery. His work is built around helping everyday people get out of pain, move better, and get back to doing what they enjoy.

Specializes in: Myofascial Release Therapy

Meet Michelle McKenzie, OTR/L, our Myofascial Release therapist. She specializes in working with the myofascial tissue of the body.

What is fascia? Fascia is the connective tissue that runs three-dimensionally from your head to your toes and surrounds all of the organs, blood vessels, muscles, nerves, and bones in the body. Restrictions in fascia can be caused by injury, trauma, inflammation, and poor posture which can in the long-term cause pain. Chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, scoliosis, tennis elbow, and arthritis, to just name a few, are all ailments that can be helped by myofascial therapy.

When you come to an appointment, wear loose fitting clothing and do not wear lotion. You are not required to remove clothing during this visit, Michelle just needs to be able to reach your skin for this very gentle technique. Upon your first visit, she will assess your posture standing and lying down. Together you will locate the areas in your body causing you pain and discomfort.
