Turmeric is a reliable herb, and a lot more than a delicious, colorful addition to your curry recipe. There are numerous published studies on the benefits of curcuminoids, the active ingredient in turmeric. Inflammation has been found as an underlying condition in most chronic diseases.
Turmeric can be taken in many forms including capsules, tinctures, teas, and as a spice in cooking. You can also use the whole root in salads, and chopped into cooking.
